What Is Love?
Main Objectives:

Design a level based on the theme that I selected

Theme:
We were given a list of themes to choose from and I've decided to go for babushka & dragon for my level. I really wanted to explore how can I mix up babushka with different themes as sort of a challenge.
SketchUp:
Before starting to place everything into the level, a blockout has been done in sketch up. Using sketch up has honestly been really good, it really does speed up the process of blocking out the levels a lot easier.

Gameplay:
The gameplay or mechanics added was rather simple because the whole purpose of this project was learning how to design a good level. At first, I wanted to add a combat type gameplay at the end but ended up just making a simple adventure parkour game with double jump. There would be platforms to jump to and falling debris of ruin that you have to dodge in the game with a boss 'fight' near the end.
Reflection
Trying to create a good level is not the easiest thing to do. There's a lot of thing to take account for like sense of space, difficulty curve, immersion, fun, and other factors that may be involve in it. Doing this project was also a great experience for me to try out Unreal Engine for the first time. It's a really great engine but really require a lot of learning to get used to. Overall, I'm still learning and improving.
